Huntingdale Primary School is located in the suburbs of Melbourne. The school was desperately in need of a learning space that could be installed with no fuss or disruption to the school.
Sixty-two days after the order was placed, a Harwyn Super Maxi was installed as required. Here is what the the school had to say about the Harwyn experience:
*Update – Huntingdale Primary School Pod has been announced as a finalist in the Victorian School Building Authority Design Awards for 2017. Congratulations to the Harwyn team and Huntingdale Primary School for achieving this great project outcome which is being recognised by the VSBA.
“Huntingdale Primary School is 60 years old with many of the original buildings still being used. The rest of the school is made up of portable classrooms. The biggest frustration is a lack of space. There was nowhere to run support programs.
The Harwyn Super Maxi is used as a versatile learning space that can easily be transformed according to the changing needs of the school. The Pod has the look and feel of a permanent structure that can easily be transported if the need arises down the track.
The Pod itself is a neat, sleek, and ‘clean’ design with modern lighting, storage and cooling options. It is perfect for use as a student support hub where students, teachers and support staff can work in a quiet and comfortable learning environment. The team at Harwyn are fabulous to work with. They oversee all aspects of the project until its end and ensure that the job is done to meet all of our needs. Our pod is the best building in our school!”
