Inside Trinity Grammar School’s Year 7 Batson Building

We recently had the pleasure of hosting school leaders at Trinity Grammar School in Kew to showcase the completed Year 7 Batson Building.

The event gave guests the opportunity to experience the building firsthand, hear from Trinity Grammar School’s leadership team and see how a double-storey modular learning environment can deliver permanent, high-quality facilities for contemporary education.

Throughout the afternoon, guests heard from Mark Glover, Adrian Harvey and Drew Borg about the vision behind the project, the design and delivery process, and the impact the building is already having on students and staff.

Hearing from Trinity Grammar School

A key part of the event was hearing directly from the school team about the thinking behind the project and the experience of bringing the building to life.

Mark Glover and Adrian Harvey shared insight into the school’s vision, the decision-making process and the journey from concept through to delivery.

A highlight was hearing from Drew Borg, Trinity Grammar School’s Head of Year 7, who spoke about how the spaces are being used day-to-day and the positive impact they are having on both students and staff.

For guests attending the event, this firsthand perspective brought the project to life in a way that drawings and photography alone never can.

A Building Designed for Modern Learning

The Year 7 Batson Building demonstrates how modular construction can be used to create permanent, architecturally designed school facilities that feel considered, substantial and fully integrated into the life of a campus.

Rather than compromising on quality, the project shows what is possible when design, manufacturing and delivery are aligned from the outset.

The result is a learning environment that supports students and staff with spaces designed for contemporary education while also offering schools greater certainty around program, disruption and delivery.

Why Projects Like This Matter

For many schools, the challenge is not simply creating more space. It is creating the right kind of space, delivered with quality, certainty and minimal disruption to school operations.

The Year 7 Batson Building is a strong example of how modular construction can help schools respond to growth, improve learning environments and deliver permanent facilities in a smarter way.

It is not a temporary solution. It is a long-term investment in the student experience and in the future of the campus.
