As one of the longest standing and most prestigious design awards in the world, the Good Design Awards seeks excellence in design, innovation, quality, functionality and sustainability.
The awards, attended by over 700 people, were presented at a black tie gala dinner at Darling Harbour on 29 May to announce the well-deserving winners.
To his surprise, Managing Director of Harwyn, Jason Fremder, collected the award for Best in Architectural Design – Commercial and Residential Architecture. “We are thrilled to receive this award and to be involved in such a respected event alongside so many global brands and businesses,” he said. “Harwyn pods were inspired by a combination of my love of modern motor vehicles and a desperate need for a professional work space.”
This is a particularly significant milestone for Harwyn, considering they had to fight off stiff competition from the likes of Warwick Bell, SJB, Studiobird and many others.
