Register Your School
Sign up online to join the 2026 competition and receive promo kit and updates.
Step 2
Select Your Band
Each school may enter one band into the competition. Your selection process can be anything that works for your school- auditions, a lunchtime battle, or a staff-led judging panel.
Step 3
Prepare a Video Entry
Submit a performance video with:
- 2 songs (covers, originals, or a mix).
- Up to 10 minutes total.
- Clear audio and video (doesn’t have to be professional).
Step 4
Submit by 1 April 2026
Your submission should Include:
- School name
- Band name
- Band members
- Song selection
- Entry Video
Upload via the video link provided following registration form.
Follow Finalist Announcements
Finalists will be invited to Melbourne for the Live Grand Final held on the 26 July 2026.

Is it free to enter?
Yes. It’s free to enter Harwyn Rocking the Nation.
Can we submit more than one band?
No. Your can only submit one band per school.
Is original music allowed?
Yes. Covers or originals are both fine.
Is there an age limit?
All band members must be enrolled high school students at the submitting school in 2026.
Can our band include students from different year levels?
Yes, mixed-year bands are absolutely allowed.
